Local Grower Since the late 1800s
Located in North East Hillsborough County, our family is the 5th and 6th generations of the Strauss family to live on this property. Since the late 1800s the Strauss family has been involved in agriculture. What began as a family homestead growing crops of strawberries and other vegetables sold in historic Plant City mid-century changed over to cattle and citrus. Today DFC is a thriving cow-calf operation and beef producer. Hard work and quality family time is what has always kept this family going and growing. We established Davis Family Cattle in 2006, when the family property was passed down to us. Davis Family Cattle has grown to include Cattle Herd Management, Cattle for sale, and Custom fed freezer beef, in whole or half quantities as well as custom packages.
